I’m
a recently married twenty something and at times think of myself as somewhat of a
contradiction.
Let
me explain...
I
live and work in the city, but dream of a more simple life in the country – I’d
love a huge kitchen with an Aga and Belfast sink. On the other hand, I also love the hustle and
bustle of the city. I came to Manchester
as a student ten years ago and never left and I don’t think I’m quite ready to
give up the bright lights and excitement just yet.
But,
who says you can’t have both?
This
blog is about me bringing a bit of country living and the simple pleasures in
life to my usually hectic city life, sometimes accompanied by my other half Mister Murf and our Bulldog Dexter.
I
enjoy photography and writing, although the only things I’ve written since leaving
school are law essays and legal documents.
All the photos on this blog are taken by me and the illustrations are
courtesy of Mister Murf, he is by far the more artistic one.
